Frequently Asked Questions
Mamut or Hercules: which one for my big dog?
Both carry up to 50kg. The Mamut is much lighter (10.3kg vs 18kg), has a lower entry and zero-maintenance EFA wheels, making it the everyday choice. The Hercules has much bigger pneumatic wheels for rougher terrain and can be towed behind a bike with the connector kit.
Will it fit in my car boot?
Folded it's L90 x W68 x H35 cm: just 35cm tall, so it lies flat in most estate and SUV boots and many larger hatchbacks.
Do the wheels need pumping?
No. The EFA wheels are solid: they never puncture and never need any maintenance.
My dog struggles to climb in. Will this work?
The Mamut is one of the best options for stiff joints: the entry is very low and the cabin opens fully, so most dogs can simply step in.
Can two dogs ride together?
Yes, the 80cm cabin happily takes two smaller dogs within the 50kg combined limit, secured by the interior leash clip.
